Ellen Farrar is a painter and illustrator who is currently based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Studio Art.
She works in various media including watercolor, oil paint, pen & ink, colored pencil, and graphite pencil. Her personal work primarily focuses on observing the people and places around her, but most of her professional and commissioned work happens to fall under biological illustration or fantasy illustration. Basically, if it involves people, things, and places, she’ll probably draw it.
Currently, she does freelance illustration and plein air painting in her free time and is generally open to do commissions, markets, and gallery shows.
